Alex Schroeder, MD is Board-Eligible Orthopaedic
Surgeon and Fellowship-Trained in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine. Dr. Schroeder
is one of the newest members to our practice and Memorial Bone and Joint is
delighted to introduce him. Dr. Schroeder is offering minimally invasive knee
and shoulder repair and reconstructive procedures. Dr. Schroeder states he is
here to devote his career to improving the quality of life for patients with
knee and shoulder injuries.
Dr. Schroeder attended Texas A&M University for his undergraduate education and graduated from medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas in. He also completed his Orthopaedic residency training at UTMB Galveston in
2007. He then completed a one year accredited Fellowship in Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine in Plano, Texas. The primary focus of the fellowship was knee and shoulder arthroscopy, which included meniscus surgery, cartilage procedures, ligament reconstructions, rotator cuff repair, biceps and labral repairs, and shoulder instability procedures. Part of his time was also dedicated to research and teaching of Orthopaedic residents.
He is a member of the Texas Medical Association and the Arthroscopy Association of North America. Learning the latest modern techniques in the field of his interest is priority to Dr. Schroeder. He is also dedicated to providing quality patient care and strives for excellent treatment outcomes. |
